I was so excited to photograph Sweet Lou’s Barbershop this week! The owner, Andrew, is my son’s barber and also a friend and favorite to all of the guys of our small town and community. Young and old. He is also a friend to all of us mom’s, grandmother’s, aunts and anyone else who goes in while their guys get freshened up. His shop has such a fun atmosphere and I know I am not speaking just for myself when I say that everyone loves the experience they receive at Sweet Lou’s. Andrew is friendly, patient with littles, funny and he remembers details about all of his clients. He has also recently hired another talented barber, Isaac, who just adds to great experience.The shop has created such a fun and traditional option for our community, and the lollipops you get at your haircut don’t hurt either!
Here are some shots we got around the shop, his sweet wife and daughter who were there visiting, and Andrew’s dad who stepped up to model since the shop was closed. I loved that his family got to be incorporated to the shoot!
